Gregory Buck, co-founder of Minnesota Election Integrity Solutions, said on May 8 that Minnesota election laws require comprehensive updates to restore balance between voter access and security standards.

“The time for reform of election laws and rules is upon us,” Buck said. “Convenience has replaced security in Minnesota, and the rules have become too lax. The public is demanding solutions that make it easy to vote, but hard to cheat.”

Buck’s remarks came as part of a coalition announcement from Minnesota election integrity advocates and policymakers supporting the newly released Model Election Laws Handbook. The handbook is presented as a resource offering model policy frameworks, legislative drafting guidance, and relevant court decisions for state lawmakers seeking to strengthen election processes.
