UPDATE – this is how the corrupt DFL legislature operates. Because of the pushback (even some Dems) regarding the (1A) issues this bill would create, the bill was retracted (technically defeated) at the end of the legislative session. BUT … the funding to support the legislation was still awarded to the Department of Human Rights … really?
This lawsuit is a challenge to the terrible legislation HF3 that will impede our right to free speech (1A), by “talking” about elections prior to an upcoming election, thereby chilling our constitutionally guaranteed right to speak openly about any topic we choose at any time (with common-sense exceptions like falsely yelling FIRE in a crowed movie theatre).
