Here are some “facts” that need to be understood, then you can decide for yourself if Minnesota has election integrity problems.
According to the department of public safety, October 2023, Minnesota Bill (HB 4/SB 27) was implemented. It states: “Minnesotans will no longer need to show proof of legal presence in the U.S. to get an instruction permit, driver’s license or identification card.”
In Minnesota, we also have same day voter registration. The Voter’s Bill of Rights #3 states, “If you can provide the required proof of residence, you have the right to register to vote and to vote on election day.” (Taken from MN SOS Election Division) When registering to vote same day, one does NOT have to provide proof of citizenship.
Some will say, the Secretary of State has ways to check that a voter is a US citizen, just go to their SOS site. BUT here is my question: if after voting day it is discovered someone voted and he/she was found to not be a US citizen, using the same day registration, how do we NOT COUNT their ballot??? Their ballot has been placed in the tabulator. Ballots have no identifying marks to link them to a voter (which is how it should be). There is no possible way to retrieve or UNCOUNT that ballot!! Their vote has already been counted!
So, YOU decide if this system is fool proof and no one, who is not a US citizen, could or will vote.
